CONNECT, SHARE & CELEBRATE! HAVE A MINI JAM

WHAT IS A MINI JAM?

Time for connecting and sharing!

A Mini Jam is an informal way to connect with others. It can be held in your home or at another place conducive to sharing fun talks. The purpose of a Mini Jam is to reconnect to music from the past and to work on your My Music My Memories Playbook with one other person or with a small group of people.

A Mini Jam will often be led by someone who has already been working on his or her own Playbook and has started creating their Top 40! Other times there is no need to have a leader. You simply take turns and share ‘what to do next’.

How long is a Mini Jam? We usually suggest 1-1.5 hours to begin and then decide how you want to continue.

Easy steps to have a Mini Jam:

· Invite a few friends over.

· Make sure each one has his/her own personal Playbook to fill out.

· Sit around your table sipping coffee, tea or lemonade and eating chocolate chip cookies

· Talk about the music you all liked when you were teenagers and

· Share some of the wonderful stories connected to those music memories.

Simple and so powerful.

Enjoy the good times.  /

ENTERTAIN, CONNECT, SHARE & CELEBRATE! HAVE A JAM SESSION

WHAT IS A JAM SESSION?

Time for connecting and sharing on a bigger scale.

Jam Sessions are My Music My Memories presentations filled with music, movement and memory sharing. They are led by a Conductor or Leader who has completed his/her MMMM Playbook and is familiar with leading MMMM Jam Sessions.

Often Jam Sessions introduce the MMMM Program and will be followed by 6-8 weeks of Mini Jams with participants working on their personal MMMM Playbook.

The Jam Sessions can be kept simple or can become more elaborate with fancy invitations, larger numbers of people, more refreshments, decorations and even costumes from the 40's, 50's, 60's or 70's.

Places to have Jam Sessions: churches, synagogues, community centers, senior centers, recreational departments, club houses.

Currently Jam Sessions are being offered in Central Indiana by Kathy Woods, Creator of My Music My Memories. Contact us for booking information.
